Lightning Poster Information

For those individuals who have been selected to do a lightning poster presentation, please follow the guidelines below when developing your presentation of your abstract.

All lightning poster presenters will have 4 minutes to present and 2 minutes for questions. This time will be strictly enforced by the moderators of your session. For your lightning poster presentation, below are the guidelines that must be followed for your presentations.

LIGHTNING PRESENTATION SLIDES:

Please follow the guidelines below when developing your presentation slides. You will have 3 slides to present your information and do not include any complex animations in your slides.

•  Slide #1 – Cover Slide
  • Poster title
  • Authors with poster presenter’s name highlighted in RED
  • Institutional affiliation of the presenting author
• Slide #2 – Problem and Hypothesis
  • 1 sentence statement of the problem addressed by the poster AND
  • 1 sentence statement of the hypothesis
• Slide #3 –  Data and Conclusions
  • 1-2 Key pieces of data
  • 2 bullets listing the 2 most important findings of the study.

**IMPORTANT** All slides must be submitted by Wednesday, March 13th for review. Any slides that do not meet the criteria above will be asked to be revised before the meeting.
