Late-Breaking Abstracts

Submission Guidelines:

The purpose of the Late Breaking submission of abstracts is to give submitters/those attending the CIS meeting, the opportunity to report recently generated, meaningful and novel research on important immune deficiency and dysregulatory diseases in a timely way, and to advance our understanding of the molecular pathogenesis of these defects.

This is NOT an opportunity for those who have not been able to submit regular abstracts by the December 15th, 2019 deadline to submit those abstracts now.

Guidelines for late-breaking abstract submissions:

Please follow the guidelines below when determining if you have an abstract worth submitting as part of the late-breaking abstract process:

  • Research previously presented or published will not be accepted.
  • Case Reports are not generally encouraged for submission as late-breaking abstracts unless they significantly advance the field of clinical immunology.
  • Membership in CIS is not a prerequisite for submitting.

Submitters will be required to enter an abstract of maximum 500 words. Submitters will also be able to include one graph or chart as part of their submissions. Notifications will be sent by March 1st of accepted abstracts.

Additional Information:

Accepted late-breaking abstracts will be slotted for oral presentation in the Hot New Defects in PIDs plenary on Sunday, April 5.

A maximum of two (2) abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation.
