Poster Presenters

All poster presenters will have the option to present their poster in-person, virtually, or both. CIS encourages all poster presenters to develop an e-poster, although it is not required for in-person presenters. You are asked to indicate how you plan to present your poster at the Annual Meeting.

In-Person Poster Sessions:

All poster sessions will be held in the Exhibit Hall – Majestic A-E  - at the Marriott St. Louis Grand. CIS will once again be running two separate poster sessions and each accepted poster has been assigned to one of the following sessions. Poster numbers will be assigned to posters the week of May 1^st.

• Friday, May 19: 1:30pm – 2:30pm
• Saturday, May 20: 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Friday poster presenters may hang their posters on Thursday, May 18 after 5pm or until 11am on Friday, May 19.
Saturday poster presenters may hang their posters after 4pm on Friday, May 19 or until 11am on Saturday, May 20.

All posters must be removed by 3:30pm on the day that they are presented. Posters not removed will be discarded by CIS Staff.

In-Person Poster Design:

The usable space on the 4ft x 8ft poster boards is 46” high x 94” wide (Landscape orientation). Please keep your poster to a size that will fit these dimensions.  While CIS does not have any specific requirements for what must be included on your poster or formatting requirements, we ask that poster presenters use a format that will make it easy for viewers to view from three to five feet away.

E-Poster Sessions:

Presenters who are solely presenting their poster virtually will be asked to attend their designated poster session, as well as check-in periodically on their poster.

E-Poster Design & Specs:

1. Posters must be uploaded via an online link, which will be sent the end of March.
2. Posters should be uploaded as BOTH a picture image, in either .JPEG or .PNG, and as a PDF.
3. All posters should be only one (1) page.
4. JPEG/PNG poster specs:
   1. 16:9 aspect ratio
   2. 1920px x 1080px
   3.  no larger than 1MB.
5. PDF Poster Specs:
   1. 16:9 Aspect Ratio
   2. No Larger than 4GB.
6. If unable to submit as a JPEG or PNG, we will convert the PDF uploaded. Please be aware that some formatting changes may occur in this process.

If presenting a poster virtually you will need to upload your poster by May 11.
